Starting therapy can feel like a big step

And that's normal.

I offer a free 20-minute introductory call. This relaxed chat gives us a chance to meet, explore what brings you to therapy, and see if it feels right to work together.

If we decide to continue, sessions:

  • Are 50 minutes long
  • Cost £55
  • Can be weekly or fortnightly
  • Take place via Zoom or Microsoft Teams

I am based in Halesowen and in Wolverhampton for face to face appointments or available online.

How Counselling Works

At Zaytoun Counselling, I offer a compassionate and confidential space where you can explore the challenges that may have been affecting you for months, years, or even decades. Counselling is a place to be truly heard, to share your feelings openly, and to gain understanding and insight into how past experiences may be shaping your present life. Through this process, you can build self-awareness, strengthen your confidence, and develop a deeper sense of who you are.

Therapy can sometimes feel difficult or uncomfortable, and working through painful emotions may take courage. But it can also be deeply transformative. If you are feeling lost, anxious, overwhelmed, sad, numb, or confused, counselling offers a space to process these feelings, work through past trauma, mourn losses, and develop practical ways to cope with everyday life — all at your own pace, with warmth and support.

Taking the first step can feel daunting, but it is also a step toward change and support. We begin with an initial consultation by phone or video (Zoom, Teams, or WhatsApp), giving us a chance to discuss what has brought you to counselling and what you hope to achieve.

Your Sessions

If you decide to continue, we’ll arrange sessions that suit your needs. Some people prefer short-term counselling to focus on a specific issue, while others benefit from longer-term therapy to explore patterns and experiences more deeply.

Each session lasts 50 minutes, providing a safe and consistent space to reflect, grow, and build trust. Counselling works best when sessions are held regularly, allowing continuity and a sense of progress.

My approach is client-centred, whether online or in-person, focused on meeting you where you are, with empathy, respect, and understanding.

If you feel ready to take that first step, you can reach out via the contact form or email me directly — I’ll be here to listen and support you.
