Types of Therapy and how they may help you...

Everyone’s challenges are unique, and what works for one person may not work for another. That’s why I take a flexible, compassionate approach—adapting my support to suit your individual needs and experiences.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic Therapy helps you understand how past experiences, especially from childhood, affect your thoughts, feelings, and relationships today. By talking about these experiences, you can become more aware of patterns in your life and make positive changes.

Gestalt Therapy

Gestalt Therapy focuses on what’s happening right now. It uses hands-on activities and exercises to help you notice your feelings and thoughts, so you can better understand yourself and make positive changes.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps you notice how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are connected. By understanding and changing unhelpful thinking patterns, you can improve your mood, cope better with challenges, and make positive changes in your life.

Somatic Therapy

Alongside talking therapy, I use somatic approaches that help you tune into your body, release tension, and find grounding. Sometimes our bodies hold what words cannot – and I honour that in our work together.

If you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed, counselling can give you the space to make sense of things and find a way forward.
